Pandora Winery, located on the south of Moldova, Cotești area in Vrancea region, is a young winery, where the specific local winemaking tradition of the area combines with digital processes through technological innovation, thus obtaining complex wines, intended for the energetic and lively consumer.
Winemaker Florin Manoliu
Mr. Florin’s debut in winemaking started in 2005 at S.C. Vincon Vrancea S.A., where he had the opportunity to make wine for the first time in the country's largest wine-growing area.
After seven years of activity, he joined S.C. Murfatlar România S.A., where he had the opportunity to work with the most renowned Romanian winemakers.
Terroir
The cultivated vineyard area has a total of 45 ha, of which 62% white grapes and 38% black grapes. The relief is represented by an alternation of flat and hilly lands with heights between 100 and 300 meters, oriented from West to East. The land’s exposure and slope provide the optimal conditions for the cultivation of vines and thus ensure the diversity of the existing varieties in the vines’ plantations from the Cotești wine region in Vrancea county.
